Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman posted in FB, ‘All constitutional institutions of Bangladesh have become obsolete due to the interference of past political governments. The people of this country are paying the price for this. Such a situation should not be allowed to continue in the future.’
He said this speech in a message on his official Facebook page at 7:39 pm on Monday (July 28).
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ‘If we get the opportunity to serve the people of the country through the mandate, then we will be in favor of separating all constitutional institutions from the authority of the party government and appointing them through an independent organization. This position is absolutely clear. There is no ambiguity here.’
The Jamaat-e-Islami Amir also said, ‘There is no alternative to this in the interest of the country and the nation. Otherwise, it is not possible to free our society from the situation that has gripped us.’
