The interim government has approved the decision to give 10th grade to all government primary school head teachers in the country. A formal notification has also been issued by the Finance Ministry in this regard. Now, 65,502 head teachers will now receive salary and allowances according to the 10th grade.
This information was given in a press release sent by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Monday (July 28).
The ministry said, in Civil Review Petition No. 124/2022, it was decided to upgrade 45 head teachers of government primary schools from the existing 11th grade to the 10th grade pay scale as per the order of the Supreme Court. In continuation of this, as it is considered reasonable to upgrade the salary scale of all government primary school head teachers of the country to the 10th grade, the government has agreed to upgrade the salary scale of 65,502 head teachers across the country from the existing 11th grade (trained) and 12th grade (untrained) to the 10th grade.
