National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam said, we will not let this Bangladesh continue under the old system and old laws. After the July mass-uprising, various forces are trying to take the country forward. We want to start the journey of a new Bangladesh through justice, reform and a new constitution.
He told at a road meeting after the July marching to build the country at Berirpar in Moulvibazar on Saturday (July 26) afternoon.
Nahid Islam , there is an attempt to dominate the police killings and blame the students and the people who are the July revolution. We made it clear in one go on August 3 that our struggle has become a nuisance to Sheikh Hasina’s fascist regime. We were forced to build resistance due to the oppression we have been subjected to. Our struggle was against the fascist state and the fascist forces.
The rally was chaired by Moulvibazar District Chief Coordinator Fahad Alam, and NCP Secretary Akhtar Hossain and Chief Coordinator Nasir Uddin Patwari also spoke. Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara, Bangladesh Democratic Students’ Union (BAGCHAS) Central Convener Abu Baker Majumder, National Youth Power Central Organizer Maruf Al Hamid, and Zakaria Emon were present.
