BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has been unveiling one visionary plan after another, signaling a new direction for the country’s development. In recent speeches addressed to party leaders, activists, and the public, he outlined a series of initiatives aimed at transforming Bangladesh’s education, technology, and entrepreneurial landscape.
Tarique Rahman urged Chhatra Dal activists and young leaders not to focus solely on the pursuit of political positions like MP or minister. Instead, he advised them to pursue quality education and assume leadership roles across different sectors of society, so they can collectively drive the nation’s progress. “Our goal should not be limited to attaining political posts. We must also strive for excellence in education, research, technology, and entrepreneurship to advance the country as a whole,” he stated.
He also announced a comprehensive plan to reform the education sector, aiming to develop children into smart and responsible citizens right from the primary level. A clear roadmap has been devised, and a team of experts has already been formed to work on practical, real-world based learning for students. Additionally, alongside Bangla and English, he emphasized the importance of making students proficient in a third or even a fourth language of their choice, empowering them to compete globally.
Observing the rise of e-commerce worldwide, Tarique Rahman highlighted the need to leverage global platforms like Amazon and Alibaba to enable small entrepreneurs in Bangladesh to access international markets with government support. He revealed that he has already initiated personal contacts with these organizations to facilitate such collaborations.
Bangladesh has a large number of people engaged in freelancing, yet they face significant challenges in bringing their foreign earnings into the country. To solve this, he announced plans to introduce international payment gateways such as PayPal in Bangladesh. He further confirmed that a dedicated team under his leadership is already working to make this a reality.
Tarique Rahman also hinted at a range of other plans and reforms aimed at the holistic development of the country. Many now say that, in today’s Bangladesh, he is the only figure with the foresight and capacity to rise as a true statesman. If he is able to implement these visions, his status as an unrivaled statesman will be undisputed.
