BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintu said, everyone knows the past election history of Feni. If there is a fair election, BNP will win certainly. Our party leader Begum Khaleda Zia will also participate in the elections. She is now somewhat healthy.
He said this in response to questions from journalists while attending a view-sharing meeting with project participants titled ‘Flood Control, Drainage and Irrigation Project Rehabilitation’ at an auditorium in Feni town on Wednesday (July 30) afternoon.
He said, the elected government do good work due to responsibility to the people. If the government is not responsible, it can not do a good work. The interim government gave a joint statement after a meeting to our acting chairman in London. The chief advisor assured us that the national election will be held next February. The current situation in the country means that the election can be held before February. We hope that the election can be held in January.
